Chocolate Slab

A couple of kind relatives have sent us hampers fro Christmas. They are full of things we cannot eat so I have packaged them up to re-gift to others and have set about making some substitutes to have on Christmas Day. One of the substitutions is a chocolate slab for Master Shoestring. These are really easy to make.

Line a shallow, long tray with non-stick baking parchment and melt 100-200g of chocolate in the microwave, the amount depends on how big your tray is. Mix in any add-ins you want to include once the chocolate has been poured into the tray. Then leave to set in the fridge. Carefully peel off the chocolate slab from the baking paper and you have  a lovely chocolate slab to package. Try not to touch the slab too much as warm fingers will melt the chocolate ! I think Master Shoestring will be very pleased with this substitution !
