Baked Potatoes in the Slow Cooker

Busy evening tonight as I've got my course, so supper needs to be something easy which can be neglected and is easy enough for everyone to serve. Baked potatoes in the slow cooker are a good choice as everybody can choose their own filling, they don't mind being left alone and I can prepare them before I go out.

Here's what you have to do :-

Prick each potato and wrap in foil. You can leave them without foil but if you are going to leave them for a long time, say you are going out for the day, then the skins might get a bit crispy and they might stick to the inside of the cooker a bit.

Then stick them in the slow cooker on HIGH for 4 hours. You can put them in on LOW and leave them for 8 hours or more. This works well when we are going to be out all day and want a hot meal to come home to.

Unwrap your potato and fill with your choice of filling !

Serve with a salad, coleslaw or a selection of vegetables !

Delicious !
