Over the past few weeks I've brought home quite a few oranges from work as nobody wanted them. Master Shoestring is the only one who eats them as other people are not allowed so they do tend to build up and get a bit old, then Master Shoestring won't eat them. I don't like to waste food, even if it was free so I grated the rind and froze it for cakes and squeezes out the juice and froze that for making ice lollies in the Summer ! No waste and I don't have anymore oranges looking sad on the counter !
