MrShoestring and I had a stroll around the garden yesterday once I got back and saw that things in the kitchen garden are growing very well.
We have already started to eat some of this lettuce which we started indoors in January and have chives and other herbs to go with it.
The strawberry plants have plenty of flowers on them, so we're looking forward to strawberries in a few weeks time.
There is even blossom on the pear tree, so I'm hopeful of finally getting a crop this year !
How is your garden growing ?
Lovely garden pictures! Everything looks lush. Our garden, such as it is, hasn’t been touched. Tomorrow I will dare to weed, clean and organize. We still have some nights in the 30’s and 40’s. My friend and neighbor gave me three tomatoe plants she started in the Winter. Those will go in pots. I have a few seeds of cool weather crops to plant and that’s about it. I checked the rhubarb today. It’s only about three inches high so we have a way to go.
ReplyDeleteYes, when I lived in the USA Spring always seemed to take an age to come but sounds like you are on your way now ! Good luck with your gardening !
