to get some thrifty inspiration for meal planning. Lesley's great ideas got me thinking too, so here's my menu plan costing 50p a person for an entire day !
BREAKFAST - 2 value wheat biscuits and 200ml milk Cost = 6.25p+8.5p=14.75p
LUNCH - egg sandwich made from 1 egg, teaspoon of value mayonnaise and 2 slices homemade bread, 1 fruit Cost = 10p+10p=20p
SUPPER - spaghetti with bacon made from 75g value spaghetti, homemade tomato sauce and value bacon Cost=15p
So a grand total of 49.75p !
You would have to drink water with this menu plan and not have any snacks, so I suppose it might fatten up your bank balance as well as slimming down your figure !
