We are off out today to follow the Art Trail around the town as part of the county art weeks. This is a great idea when all the artists and crafts people in the area open up their studios so that you can see what they are doing, have a peek at their latest work and even buy something if you want to. There are also exhibitions in large public spaces.
This year their are 20 exhibitions and demonstrations of work by local artists and it is possible to walk between all the venues, so we are looking forward to a free day out.
It is well worth having a look in your area to see if something similar is arranged as it is a good chance to see art and craft work which can give you ideas for your own !
