So on Friday I managed to get quite a few reduced bargains and all for an extra £1.24, so that was still well within the tiny grocery budget for this week. So what did I get :-
a packet of nakd snack bars in berry flavour for 28p, we would never normally buy these as they would be too expensive;
8 bottles of Ashbeck sparkling water, 2litre size for 30p for all of them, these will come in handy over the Christmas holidays to mix with our homemade grape juice and homemade elderflower cordial;
3 tins of Mexican refried beans at 14p each, normally I make these from scratch but this was cheaper;
a tin of black beans for 8p, these are normally 80p a tin, so a big saving here and delicious in chill;
a packet of 4 boil in the bag white rice sachets for 8p, we don't normally eat much rice but this will come in handy for individual servings for a quick supper for MissShoestring;
a tin of spaghetti hoops for 2p, we don't normally buy these either, but at 2p it will make a quick lunch for someone;
finally a packet of 4 organic kiwi fruit for 34p.
A good haul of bargains to help stretch the grocery budget and a few treats so I was well pleased.
